The UASB reactor concept was rapidly developed into technology, and according to records, the first pilot plant was installed at a sugar refinery in The Netherlands.
Thereafter a large number of full-scale plants were installed across the country, serving sugar refineries, potato processing facilities, other food industries, and recycled paper plants.
While many of these reactors continue to operate, some require refurbishment due to technical, safety, or process-related challenges.
AquaThane has the flexibility and expertise to upgrade any existing anaerobic plant. Each reactor has specific needs that require detailed engineering, and we can meet these demands while integrating the latest technology. This results in improved efficiency, lower maintenance costs, and extended reactor life.
